My client, a public sector organisation based in Dublin 1 are seeking to hire a Website Administrator to support over a 9 month contract.
This role is an immediate requirement, candidates with a notice period longer than 1-2 weeks unfortunately cannot be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage copy, content and navigation on the website.
- Produce well-written plain English content that is SEO friendly and on brand to maximise engagement.
- Create engaging content, including copy, images, and videos that promote the company’s brand and core messaging for digital use.
- Collaborate with other teams within the organisation to manage content, data analytics and approvals as required.
- Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information, improve the navigation to enhance the user experience.
- Monitor SEO, metrics and user engagement and suggest content optimisation.
- Provide constructive feedback, regular dashboard reporting and content development improvements.
- Assist with the development and sourcing of content for the website, such as videos, infographics, images etc.
- Provide information on the latest digital best practices and technologies
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Web Design, Computer Science, IT, Journalism, or another relevant field;
- Demonstrable evidence of web design and publishing
- Experience using Content Management Systems (Word Press) and Web standards;
- Understanding of SEO and web analytics tools;
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills, converting technical or legalistic language into plain English;
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks to successful outcomes
- Confident and articulate with proven ability to communicate courteously and professionally.
Desirable
- Collaborating skills and good time-management;
- Knowledge of using Universal Design to communicate more inclusively;
- Experience working with data analytics software and business intelligence tools (such as Matomo, Google Analytics, PowerBI, Qlik Sense);
- Experience of working in a regulatory environment, whether in a governmental organisation, consultancy or corporate entity;
- Familiarity with electronic communications, broadcasting and/or technology sectors;
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role;
