My client, a regulatory body based centrally in Dublin 2 are seeking to hire a temporary Data and Research officer to support over a temporary contract, with the potential to move into a longer term or permanent contract later this year.
This role is set at Executive Officer level, at a salary of €33,812 per year, non-negotiable.
This is an immediate requirement, candidates with a notice period longer than 2 weeks unfortunately cannot be considered.
Working within a small team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Data cleaning, verification, and analysis for:
- Notice of Termination data
- RPZ exemption data
- KPI reports for disputes and analysis of data.
- Daily operation of Research Inbox, tracking queries, and coordinating/drafting responses
- Research Committee administration: minutes, papers, and emails
- Support the ongoing development of quarterly data bulletin – data verification, analysis, thematic review, and design.
- Preparation and publication of data and data visualisation on the Data Hub/Research and statistics page: In excel format, PDF format & Graphs.
- Proofreading, coordinating with designer on report and development of infographic and tweets, drafting tweets, preparation, and publication of data on data hub, publication of report on website, and assisting with POs/invoices.
- Supporting the rental sector survey: creation of sampling frame, proofing surveys/interview questions/reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to gather information for internal and external data queries (Oireachtas, Department, Media)
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role involving statistical analysis and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- An aptitude for analytical and critical thinking and solution focussed approach.
- Detail-oriented and ability to keep accurate, well-organised records.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders to develop collaborative relationships.
- Ability to be flexible and to work carefully and quickly to meet the demands of a busy research programme.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret and evaluate information and data from a broad range of sources.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
