My client, a regulatory body located in Dublin 1, is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist / L&D Specialist to join their team for a 12 month maternity leave contract. As a member of this dynamic and forward-thinking HR team you will be leading Organizational Development as well as the Learning and Development function with the help of a direct report. You will also provide more general guidance to internal stakeholders in the areas of performance management, recruitment and selection, employee engagement etc.
The Role
- Lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s annual L&D plan as well as conducting regular reviews for achievement of training KPIs
- Work as part of a team to deliver effective and timely OD initiatives and projects
- Oversee the work of the team’s HR Administrator; delegate, review and provide guidance on their responsibilities
- Provide advice and assistance to management on employee engagement and performance
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR with a particular focus on L&D and Organisational Development
- Experience in Learning and Development and Organisational Development is a necessity
- Familiar with employment law in Ireland
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A HR degree or similar HR qualification is beneficial
