An educational body in Dublin 8 are seeking an accounts administrator on a full time, Monday-Friday, short term basis. You will be part of a very small accounts team and report to the registrar. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and have good time management skills. You must be available immediately. The salary on offer is €31,315 pro rata.
It is currently a WFH position-pending government guidelines. Technology will be supplied.
The candidate will be responsible for the issuing of order numbers, processing of purchase invoices onto Opera II, payment of creditors, bank reconciliations and the general administration associated with a busy accounts payable and bank book function along with other ad hoc duties as they arise.
Duties to include:
-Bank reconciliations of 3 bank accounts and 1 paypal account
-Posting of bank transactions into accounts package
-Enter foreign payments onto the bank system for subsequent approval
-Monthly creditors reconciliations
-Maintain assets log on fixed assets register
-Monitor accounts office email and distribute to relevant personnel
-Posting VAT invoices into accounts package
-Contact of all live suppliers prior to year end to obtain year end statement balances
-Check PO register against received invoices to ensure fully up to date
-Monthly payroll reconciliations including addressing backlog
-Accounting, Business or Third level qualification
-Strong administration skills
-Ability to use initiative
