Website Content Analyst (Public Sector) – 15 Month FTC

Location: Dublin 2 or Cork
Contract: 15-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: 41.25 hours per week (35 hours net of breaks)
Salary: €53,071 per annum (fixed, non-negotiable)
Working Arrangement: Blended working

This is an excellent opportunity to join a public sector organisation’s Digital Marketing Team as a Website Content Analyst, supporting the management, optimisation and ongoing development of its website and digital content. You’ll play a key role in ensuring content is accurate, engaging and user-focused, while using digital analytics and insight to improve website performance and user experience.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, content editors and external suppliers, you’ll support website projects, content publishing, reporting and the continuous improvement of the organisation’s digital presence.

Key Duties:

  • Manage and maintain website content, ensuring information is accurate, relevant and up to date.
  • Support website optimisation and improvements to enhance user experience and engagement.
  • Work with content editors on publishing, troubleshooting and CMS-related queries.
  • Support SEO activity and ensure digital content follows best-practice principles.
  • Monitor website performance using GA4 and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Analyse website and digital content data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Support campaign tracking, reporting and ongoing digital performance measurement.
  • Coordinate website and digital projects from scoping through to delivery.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver digital content and web projects.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of the organisation’s website and wider digital presence.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree (NFQ Level 8+) in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Web Design/Development, Communications or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience in a comparable website, digital content or digital marketing role within a large organisation.
  • Strong experience working with CMS platforms, website content and digital analytics.
  • Experience with GA4 and using web analytics to inform recommendations and improvements.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and digital content best practices.
  • Proven project coordination and reporting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with Drupal or a similar CMS.
  • Experience managing or coordinating digital content teams.
  • Previous public sector experience.
  • Knowledge of customer experience and user-centred digital principles.
  • Irish language proficiency.
