This is temporary position for approx. 3 months where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent contract through an open competition.
This is an immediate requirement, candidates with a notice period longer than 1-2 weeks unfortunately cannot be considered.
There is a hybrid working policy in place, the successful candidate must be available to attend the office in Citywest at least 3 days per week (parking available onsite)
The salary attached to this position is €34,214, non-negotiable.
The Corporate Communications Officer will support various areas, including:
Media Relations:
- Drafting and issuing press releases
- Managing media contacts database
- Coordinating media queries and responses
- Generating story ideas and assisting with media briefings
Digital Communications and Content Marketing:
- Creating and editing content for corporate websites
- Crafting multimedia content for social media
- Responding to public inquiries via social media platforms
- Compiling metrics reports and overseeing digital campaigns
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Planning communications for events and campaigns
- Providing excellent customer service to stakeholders
- Producing communications materials
- Attending key stakeholder events
Internal Communications:
- Supporting internal communication efforts
- Collaborating with colleagues and management
- Creating content for employee communications
Communication Administration Responsibilities:
- Compiling evaluation reports
- Managing meeting logistics
- Undertaking additional duties as assigned
- Representing the Communications Manager at meetings or events if required
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in relevant Communications role
- Recognised third-level qualification in relevant discipline
- Experience in media relations and content production
- Experience supporting integrated communication campaigns
- Familiarity with external and internal stakeholder communication
- Excellent storytelling and writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, WordPress, social media platforms
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Integrity and motivation for continuous professional development
