A membership body based in South County Dublin require a strong administrator, ideally with legal experience, to join them. This organization has disciplinary powers over its members and this person will work within the team that investigate complaints. This is a really nice opportunity for someone with an interest in regulatory environments or employment law to gain hands-on experience of the processes involved in fitness to practice investigations.
- This is a 6 month FTC
- Hybrid working – flexibility around days is required as this role requires attendance in-person at disciplinary hearings, the days of which can vary.
- Salary: €35000 pro-rata
- Onsite parking, walking distance to Dart and Dublin Bus stops.
Responsibilities for this role will include:
- Work as part of the investigative committee to conduct interviews, take statements, procure relevant documentation and collect statistics on investigations for reporting purposes.
- Arrange, attend and minute meetings.
- Communicate with relevant parties in an empathetic and professional manner.
- Manage a workload of cases independently – meeting deadlines and preparing draft reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain database.
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
- Two years’ experience in an administrative function in a regulatory, legal or healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written. Ability to communicate with others in personable but professional manner.
- Strong MS Office experience.
- Flexibility to attend the offices in South County Dublin regularly and as the role requires.
- Experience in working with standard procedures or within a regulatory framework.
