A global top-tier law firm, serving leading international clients, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their finance management team on a 13-15 month fixed-term contract.
About the Role
As Senior Finance Manager, you will lead a team of four finance professionals, drive financial reporting excellence, and collaborate closely with senior management and business partners. You will oversee month-end reporting, budgeting, year-end accounts, statutory audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Financial Reporting team (1 Finance Manager and 3 trainees)
- Manage monthly management accounts and month-end close processes
- Coordinate annual budgeting and year-end accounts preparation
- Partner with department heads to monitor budgets and support business decisions
- Manage statutory audit processes and implement audit recommendations
- Review and approve financial statements for presentation to the Audit Committee
- Provide regular financial performance updates to the Finance Director and senior leaders
About You:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with 5+ years management experience
- Strong communication skills to engage with finance teams and stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex finance issues
- Self-motivated with strong time management, able to meet tight deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced Excel user
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
