Our Client is a global leader in the provision of Fund Management Solutions to the asset management industry who are seeking to hire an experienced Company Secretary on a permanent contract based in Dublin City Centre or Belfast.

Key duties & responsibilities of the Company Secretary:

  • Manage a varied portfolio of Fund entities across various jurisdictions through the accurate preparation and issue of agendas, board papers and minutes for all board meetings and, where appropriate, convening and minuting annual/ extraordinary general meetings
  • Ensure all relevant requirements of the Companies Act 2014 are adhered to and the company remains compliant with all relevant obligations including filings/returns, maintaining registers etc.
  • Keep senior management advised on relevant regulatory updates and ensure any queries are fully addressed.
  • Assist in the coordination of transactions from a governance and compliance perspective
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and intermediaries
  • Supervise and review documents, meeting minutes, and resolutions prepared by junior team members to uphold established standards

Key skills of the Company Secretary :

  • Minimum of 3 year’s relevant experience in a company secretarial role
  • Funds experience advantageous
  • Experience leading a team
  • ICSA qualified or studying towards the relevant qualification at professional level
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of Companies Act 2014
