Position: Programme Executive – Research, Development, and Demonstration
Salary: €48,381 per annum
Annual leave: 29 days pro rata
Contract: 18-month contract

Are you passionate about driving innovation in sustainable energy? We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Executive to join our clients Research, Development, and Demonstration (RD&D) Team. As a Programme Executive, you will be at the forefront of shaping Ireland's energy future, working within their dynamic and innovative Research & Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the National Energy Research Development and Demonstration (RD&D) Funding Programme Calls, overseeing project evaluation and implementation.
- Contribute to strategic and programme development within the RD&D Team and across the wider Research & Technology Department.
- Enhance communication and dissemination activities related to funded RD&D projects and Ireland's involvement in strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with other functions to support and enhance the delivery of research and innovation activities.
- Represent in national and international committees as required.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in research programme management or an energy-related area.
- 3rd level qualification in a relevant energy-related field with an engineering, scientific, or social science background, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Ireland's energy-related research landscape and European energy policy priorities.
- Proven project management skills and ability to deliver projects end-to-end.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in energy-related research environments across the public sector, academia, or industry.
- Post-graduate or PhD level qualification in a relevant field.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
