My client, a technology company providing services to the public sector, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. This role sits within the Brokerage Services team and your function will be to manage internal procurement processes, the majority of which are ICT related.
The Procurement Specialist will report to the Brokerage Services Manager and will have duties spanning the full brokerage lifecycle including but not limited to supporting the creation of frameworks, supporting the running of tenders, driving engagement, procurement planning, contracts management etc.
To be considered for the role you will need:
- Minimum of three years' experience in an end to end procurement lifecycle role
- A relevant degree or equivalent academic or professional 3rd level qualification
- Experience developing constructive and co-operative working relationships and maintaining them over time with clients, providers and colleagues
- Experience in devising plans for contract delivery and managing and monitoring supplier performance over the term of the contract
- Ability to coordinate and direct projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals
- A flexible attitude to the evolving needs of the post and its environment
- Open and transparent with a high degree of personal integrity
