Procurement Specialist – Dublin 2 – Government Body (Hybrid) | Permanent
Location: Dublin 2 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Salary: €52,546 (Fixed, Non-Negotiable)
A well-regarded government body based in Dublin 2 is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join its Corporate Governance, Legal Services & Secretariat Division on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Support managers across the organisation with the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from initial specification through to contract award
- Manage the eTenders process, including drafting, publishing, and administering tenders and notices
- Provide guidance on appropriate procurement routes, including the use of OGP frameworks and best-practice strategies
- Advise on procurement documentation, including templates, evaluation methodologies, and timelines
- Support and oversee tender evaluation processes, including score collation and preparation of standstill and award notification letters
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contract registers and tender files
- Assist in reviewing and enhancing procurement templates, policies, and guidance materials
- Deliver clear procurement advice and support to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure adherence to procurement compliance and governance standards
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in public sector procurement
- Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and guidelines
- Proven experience using the eTenders.gov.ie platform
- Demonstrated experience managing full end-to-end procurement processes
- Currently pursuing or holding a Professional Diploma in Public Procurement (IPA) or equivalent
- Third-level qualification (Level 8 or equivalent)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Desirable
- Experience working within a public sector or government body
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience supporting procurement evaluation panels
- Full driving licence
