About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Post Room Assistant/Workplace Assistant to join our client’s team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic role and enjoys being at the heart of workplace operations. Ideal candidates might have experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service and are eager to develop their skills in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
New Starter Support:
- Set up desks and ensure new starters have all the equipment they need to hit the ground running.
- Conduct office tours for new starters, covering health and safety procedures and workplace facilities.
Post Room Management:
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and parcels, ensuring all deliveries are processed efficiently.
- Coordinate with couriers for pickups and deliveries.
General Workplace Assistance:
- Ensure shared office spaces are tidy and well-stocked with supplies.
- Provide support for ad-hoc office tasks, helping the team where needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- A friendly and approachable personality with strong communication skills.
- Someone who is eager to learn and happy to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
- Great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, or similar is ideal but not essential—what matters most is your attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
