A leading corporate law firm in Dublin 2 is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in Dublin. This is a newly created role where you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing monthly payroll for employees, pensioners, and partners across multiple jurisdictions including Ireland, the UK, and the USA.
- Managing all payroll components, ensuring compliance with benefits, holiday pay, and statutory payments.
- Administering employee benefits and ensuring accurate payroll deductions.
- Ensuring payroll reconciliation, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll issues and streamline processes.
- Implementing legislative payroll changes and maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures.
- Acting as the primary contact for payroll-related queries and reporting.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- 5+ years in a payroll management role within a fast-paced environment.
- IPASS or equivalent payroll qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Irish payroll regulations, taxation, and employment law.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (experience with Access Payroll preferred).
- Proven track record in system implementation and process improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple payrolls and meet tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
