Payroll & HR Coordinator

URGENT | Payroll & HR Coordinator 9-Month Maternity Leave Contract | Hybrid Working

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Coordinator for an urgent 9-month maternity leave contract based in Ballymount, Dublin 12. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HR professional to join a fast-paced, high-performing environment with a strong people-focused culture.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will coordinate the end-to-end payroll process while supporting a wide range of HR activities across the business. This role suits someone who thrives in a busy environment, maintains high standards, and takes initiative.

  • Urgent requirement – immediate start preferred to facilitate handover by mid March
  • 9-month fixed-term maternity leave contract
  • Hybrid working model: 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH
  • Onsite parking available
  • 2 round interview process (remote and onsite) 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate weekly and monthly payrolls for ROI and NI in partnership with an outsourced payroll provider
  • Manage employee benefits including health insurance, pension, long service awards, share schemes and cycle to work
  • Act as first point of contact for payroll and benefits queries
  • Maintain accurate employee data in SAP SuccessFactors
  • Compile monthly and weekly payroll and HR reports
  • Support employee relations processes and provide first-level HR advice to line managers
  • Coordinate recruitment processes from interview through onboarding
  • Assist with audits and year-end reporting
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • General HR administration and ad-hoc duties as required

About You

  • Minimum 1 year payroll experience (essential)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a busy HR environment (desirable)
  • Degree in HR or equivalent experience
  • Payroll qualification (e.g. IPASS) advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors highly desirable
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality
  • Full clean driver’s licence required
