An International Construction Company is seeking a Payments Manager to assist their busy Finance team in Dublin 24.

The role will primarily involve leading and managing the Payments Specialists, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors, employees, and other stakeholders.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Leading, mentoring Payments Specialist, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Overseeing the processing of vendor payments, payroll payments and manual payments accurately and in timely manner.
- Reviewing payment requests for completeness, accuracy, and proper authorisation before processing payments.
- Preparing regular reports and key performance indicators for management review.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to streamline. disbursement processes, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency.
The ideal candidate will:
- 3+ years in a Payments Specialist position with a strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to payment processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communications, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong IT skills, experience working with banking platforms
