Onboarding Co-ordinator Dublin 24

Onboarding co-ordinator required for an International Construction company.

The Onboarding Co-ordinator will work closely with the recruitment team, hiring managers, regional support roles & functions, and the wider HR team to ensure an efficient and effective transition from hiring process to successful onboarding. A large part of this role, particularly in the early stages, will be to improve the overall onboarding and induction process.

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the Onboarding Co-ordinator will co ordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance to the completion of the probationary period.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Central point of contact for all new starters, hiring managers prior to commencing employment with responsibility for co-ordinating key onboarding activities , ensuring all stakeholders are engaging in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain onboarding materials to guide / upskill line managers and other roles in the process, to ensure they successfully undertake their critical roles in onboarding
  • Gather regular feedback from new starters to measure engagement through the onboarding process and report results to HR Leadership Team, Regional/Divisional Boards as required
  • Monitor and review onboarding processes and activities to ensure they remain efficient and effective in delivering value for all stakeholders, making improvements as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Hands on experience of co-ordinating employee lifecycle activities (e.g. new starters)
  • Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills as well as experience presenting to small groups and facilitating workshops
  • An open and proactive style with positive energy and a welcoming approach
  • A growth mindset, with the ability to handle the unknown, be resilient, learn, share, and improve
