Litigation Legal Executive

Busy mid-sized law firm with offices in Dublin 2 are recruiting a permanent Legal Executive / Secretary to support the Litigation department.

This person will work closely with the Managing Partner and one Senior Associate. The duties of this role will combine elements of an Executive position and those on the more Secretarial side. The team work with both commercial and private clients across many areas of litigation including: probate, debt collection, personal injury and employment.

This is a permanent role based fully onsite, not far from Leeson St / St Stephens Green.

Day to day duties of this role will include:

  • File opening.
  • Preparing correspondence.
  • Liaising with clients, experts and other relevant parties to arrange meetings.
  • Preparation of briefs to counsel.
  • Preparation of court documents, folders and booklets.

Suitable candidates for this role will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Legal Executive / Legal Administrator / Legal Secretary in a law firm of any size.
  • Experience working with documents related to any aspect of litigation.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook. Experience using Evolve or any other CMS is an advantage.
