Legal Secretary - Insurance and Risk

An experienced Litigation Legal Secretary is required for a very busy group in one of Ireland’s top 5 firms. Working with this group will offer you exposure to the leading practice group in this area, working on complex cases across all areas of insurance and risk. Their client base is unmatched and includes global multinational companies and Fortune 500 organisations.

This is an award winning team with industry recognised leaders. With a headcount of less than 20, the team work closely together and in a fast-paced, high-performing environment!

Duties of the role will include:

  • Document production including drafting affidavits, court documents and memos.
  • Maintaining case files and database.
  • Client billing, managing invoices and tracking WIP.
  • Diary management for fee- earners
  • Liaising with external stakeholders – experts, counsel and clients.
  • General legal administrative support for the team.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a commercial law firm.
  • Experience using case management and billing software
  • Strong experience in diary management and calendar planning
