International law firm are seeking a Legal Administrator, over time this role will grow into a full Legal PA position supporting a Partner – an opportunity not to be missed if you are embarking on a career in Legal Support!
This is the ideal opportunity for someone who has spent 6- 12 months in a mid-size firm and has some experience with legal admin and document support. In this role, you will work closely with and be given training by a Senior member of the Dublin Legal support staff. In your work, you will also interact with teams from the firm’s international offices.
This role is not suitable for candidates sitting or planning to sit FE1 examinations.
Your duties will include:
- Correspondence – taking calls and messages, setting up conference calls, managing emails and post.
- Diary management – meeting coordination, managing Outlook calendars for Partners, reserving meeting rooms, coordinating video conferencing software.
- Travel and expense management including booking flights, coordinating itineraries with clients and administrative staff from international offices.
- Document preparation, proofreading and filing.
- Maintaining of client contacts database and internal files.
- Ad hoc administrative support as required – printing, scanning, preparing of binders, coordinating catering for meetings etc.
For consideration for this role, you will need to have:
- 6 -12 months experience working in an Administrative capacity in a law firm.
- Excellent MS Office skills and experience using digital dictation technology. Experience using a case management system is an advantage.
- Ability to handle a busy workload, with multiple priorities in a high performance environment.
