Key Responsibilities
- IT Infrastructure Management: Administer, maintain, and secure on-premise and Azure-based servers, networks, and core systems. Support ongoing cloud migration initiatives.
- System & Application Implementation: Assist with deploying new hardware, software, and IT solutions, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Release & Patch Management: Plan, test, and deploy software updates, security patches, and new releases to keep systems stable and secure.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain firewalls, endpoint protection, security policies, and backup/disaster recovery procedures, ensuring business continuity.
- Systems Administration: Monitor system performance, review logs, manage alerts, and ensure smooth daily operations across all IT environments.
- End-User Support: Serve as the first point of contact for IT queries, delivering effective support to staff at all levels and resolving incidents promptly.
- User & Access Management: Oversee onboarding/offboarding, device setup, account provisioning, permissions management, and credential resets.
- Hardware & Software Support: Provide hands-on support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and essential business applications.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and process materials to support consistent IT operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider IT team to support testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of systems and services.
Qualifications
- Experience in both Azure and Hosted infrastructure environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or similar.
