Internal Communications & Sustainable Business Lead

A top tier law firm based in Dublin 2 is seeking an experienced Internal Communications & Sustainable Business Lead to join its Business Development & Marketing team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Opportunity:

This role offers the opportunity to shape how colleagues experience the firm internally while also leading the delivery of its Sustainable Business programme across environmental, social and governance priorities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving colleague engagement, supporting firm culture, enhancing internal communications, and advancing sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications

• Lead firm-wide internal communications across channels including the intranet, internal email, app and digital boards.
• Develop and manage the internal communications calendar covering campaigns and ongoing activity.
• Create and edit engaging content including announcements, leadership messages, campaigns and feature articles.
• Maintain intranet content to ensure it remains current, accessible and engaging.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure messaging is aligned, consistent and on brand.
• Monitor engagement metrics and refine communications based on insights.

Sustainable Business

• Lead and coordinate the firm’s Sustainable Business programme across ESG priorities.
• Develop initiatives across DEI, wellbeing, environmental sustainability, community engagement and pro bono.
• Support governance structures including steering groups and internal committees.
• Manage external relationships with charities, accreditation bodies and industry organisations.
• Oversee sustainability reporting and tracking against commitments and accreditations.
• Drive colleague engagement through campaigns, events and volunteering.

About You:

You will bring:

• At least 4 years’ experience in internal communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent editorial judgement.
• Experience delivering internal engagement campaigns.
• Experience managing intranet platforms and tools such as Vuture.
• Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
