Head of People Services We are seeking an experienced HR leader to manage and enhance a centralised HR Operations and People Services function within a large, complex organisation.
This role will lead a high-performing HR team responsible for delivering efficient, compliant, and customer-focused HR services across the full employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence through strong governance, continuous improvement, effective case management, and service delivery performance.

- Salary €61,306 - €82,940 (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the HR Operations / People Services team
- Manage a high-volume HR support and case management function
- Drive a tiered HR service delivery model with strong first-contact resolution for 3,000 employees approx.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, governance frameworks, and SOPs
- Oversee HR systems, data integrity, reporting, and audit readiness
- Monitor and improve KPIs, SLAs, and service performance metrics
- Lead process improvement and HR operational projects
- Ensure accurate delivery of employee lifecycle administration processes
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in HR, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Administration
- Proven leadership experience within a service delivery environment
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employment legislation, governance, and compliance
- Experience managing HR systems, case management tools, and service metrics
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- CIPD qualification
- Experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies
