Starting Salary: €52,546 (non-negotiable)
Hours: 35 hour week
Contract: 12-month, full-time
Annual Leave: 29 days + public holidays

Exciting opportunity to join a leading team in research finance! As a Programme Executive in Research Finance, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting funded research grant programmes, overseeing financial administration, compliance, and contributing to program development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform compliance checks on grants and other payments as required.
- Maintain and update policies and procedure manuals in line with business requirements.
- Support the management and improvement of the organisations finance and grant systems.
- Support the internal and external audit processes and assist in the preparation of annual financial statements
- Fixed Assets accounting, ensuring all assets are recorded correctly and the Fixed asset Register is accurate and kept up to date.
Essential Skills and Experience required:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar (NFQ Level 7 or higher).
- Minimum of 5 years’ direct relevant experience working in an accounts function.
- Experience of Accounting packages and/or ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of controls and good governance practices.
- Well-developed IT skills and understanding of MS Office 365 package.
- Strong organisation, communication, and IT skills; financial controls experience; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in public sector or EU grants
- Strong project management skills
