This long established & highly respected Irish organisation with a diverse portfolio of brands and services are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to join their leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for all aspects of financial management, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning across a diverse and growing business with multiple brands and activities. Reporting directly to the CEO you will lead the finance function and play a key role in the strategic growth of a dynamic and trusted Irish brand portfolio
About the Role
As Financial Controller, you will:
- Oversee all financial operations, reporting directly to the CEO.
- Lead a dedicated finance team ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support growth and innovation.
- Provide financial insight and strategic guidance to the leadership team.
- Manage risk, tax compliance, and ensure robust internal controls.
- Oversee financial due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.
- Act as Data Privacy Officer, ensuring GDPR and data protection compliance.
About You
We’re looking for a commercially minded leader with:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- At least 10 years’ senior finance experience, ideally in a complex, multi-entity organisation.
- Strong experience in mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and integration.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish Revenue compliance and reporting.
- Experience managing data protection and GDPR requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
