This leading Irish Property Investment company are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant to join their team in Dublin. The group is involved in a full range of property development, investment and management activities in the commercial, leisure, industrial and residential sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Daily Transfers/Letters
- Preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements
- Maintain Cashbooks
- Monthly Service Charge Reports
- Monthly Wages Postings
- CSO Return
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register, calculation of Depreciation Charges
- Reconciliation of Debtors Listing to General Ledger
- Reconciliation of Creditors Listing to General Ledger
- Reconciliation of Creditor Listing balances to Creditor Statements
- Preparation of P30 returns and at year end P35 return
- Preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns / RCT Returns
- Reconciliation of PAYE/PRSI and VAT Control Accounts to Outstanding Returns
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Maintenance and review of the General Ledger for mispostings and misanalysis
- Assisting with preparation of Quarterly Board Pack
- Assisting with preparation of Year End Accounts and liaising with auditors
Key Skills and Requirements
- Qualified or QBE with a minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
- Excellent computer skills particularly MS Excel
- Experience of ECS desirable
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Professional, responsible and flexible attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively – both oral & written
- The ability to work to tight deadlines both within a team and on your own initiative
