Financial Accountant (Newly Qualified)

A global international law firm with a growing and dynamic Dublin office is seeking a Newly Qualified Financial Accountant to join its high-performing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to gain broad exposure across financial reporting, commercial finance, and regulatory compliance within a leading professional services environment. You will work closely with senior finance leadership locally, while also collaborating with international teams across the UK and a Global Services Centre.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of financial operations and providing commercial insights to the business. This is a varied position offering strong development and progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Support financial reporting, including management accounts and statutory accounts
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including journals and reconciliations
- Partner with stakeholders to monitor costs and support financial decision-making
- Analyse key financial metrics including billing, revenue and cash performance
- Support billing processes and ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements
- Assist with VAT, VIES and other regulatory filings
- Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
- Work closely with international finance teams and shared service functions
About You
- Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in a professional services or international environment is an advantage
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present data
- Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
