The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity for a Finance Control Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. This role offers broad exposure and the chance to drive financial control, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial control processes and ensure timely, accurate month-end close
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and reporting frameworks
- Act as key contact for internal and external audits
- Drive process improvements and support finance transformation projects
- Support treasury activities including cash flow and liquidity oversight
- Deliver accurate financial reporting, KPIs, and management information
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3+ years PQE in financial services
- Strong financial control and audit experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable
- Proactive with a solutions-focused mindset
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102 / IFRS
- Experience with financial control frameworks
- Advanced Excel
