Our client are one of the top commercial property companies in Ireland and they are currently for a Facilities Manager to join their team. This is a permanent role managing common areas in high-end PRS Developments.

This is a fantastically varied role which will encompass managing common areas of all sorts including office space, gyms, tenant lounges, cinema rooms and roof terraces. If you are someone who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and has experience in facilities and property management on a commercial scale this could be a very exciting move for you! If you have experience in hotel facilities, an electrical trade and/or previous experience in commercial property it would be highly advantageous to your application.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Working in partnership with property managers, clients and contractors on all aspects of facilities and building management.
  • Coordinating planned preventative maintenance, and reacting to emergency maintenance matters on mechanical and building equipment.
  • Tendering and contract negotiation. Management of contractor documentation and delivery.
  • Day to day health and safety monitoring as well as implementation of actions identified in audits.
  • Budget management and periodic reporting.
  • Out of hours helpdesk support.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Full clean drivers licence and own car.
  • 5+ years’ experience in building / facilities management.
  • A qualification in Facilities Management or a relevant area.
