Facilities Lead (Hard Services) – Professional Services Firm | Dublin 7 | Fully On-Site

Location: Dublin 7
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced Facilities Lead (Hard Services) to join their Estates team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled facilities professional to take ownership of hard services delivery, maintenance operations and technical projects across a prestigious commercial property portfolio.

This is a permanent, fully site-based role where you will lead the delivery of hard facilities management services, ensuring buildings are maintained to the highest standards while driving operational excellence, contractor performance and sustainability initiatives.

The role is ideally suited to an experienced professional from a Hard Facilities Management, Building Services or Engineering background who enjoys managing technical operations, delivering projects and building strong relationships with stakeholders and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of hard facilities management services across a commercial property portfolio.
  • Manage PPM schedules, reactive maintenance and asset replacement programmes.
  • Coordinate facilities projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to specification.
  • Oversee mechanical, electrical and building systems, including HVAC, boilers, security and water systems.
  • Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with SLAs, health & safety standards and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor asset performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support procurement activities, contractor selection and service contract reviews.
  • Monitor maintenance budgets, invoices and operational expenditure.
  • Prepare KPI and SLA reports to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Drive sustainability and energy management initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, occupiers and external partners to resolve facilities matters effectively.
  • Support compliance, risk management and business continuity requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Hard Facilities Management, Technical Services or Building Services.
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience managing maintenance operations, contractors and technical projects.
  • Experience managing mechanical and electrical systems within a commercial environment.
  • Knowledge of BMS, CAFM systems and PPM scheduling software.
  • Understanding of health & safety legislation and construction regulations.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts and contractor performance.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
  • Proficient IT skills with experience using digital facilities systems.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Membership of IWFM, RICS, SCSI or a similar professional body.
  • Experience within a professional services or commercial office environment.
  • Experience delivering energy efficiency or sustainability initiatives.
