A respected membership and educational body based in Dublin 7 is seeking an experienced and confident Membership Events & Projects Coordinator to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and people-focused professional to play a central role in the delivery of high-profile events and the smooth running of specialist professional groups.
This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of office-based collaboration and remote working.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing multiple stakeholders — including senior professionals with high expectations — and bring a calm, organised approach to managing a varied workload.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial support to several specialist professional associations, including organising meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
- Coordinate and support a wide range of events, including member seminars, breakfast briefings, conferences, and public events, delivered in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
- Handle event logistics from concept through to completion, manage registration systems, and communications with attendees and speakers.
- Assist with marketing and promotional activity for events, using digital platforms and internal communication channels.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with members, internal colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of all projects.
About You:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a professional or membership-based setting.
- Strong background in event planning and execution.
- Experience providing secretariat support, i.e. organising meetings, taking minutes, sending agendas, following up on next actions, etc.
- Experience in a legal environment (e.g. law firm or legal secretary role) is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and managing demanding personalities with professionalism and poise.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills — including Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and event platforms.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
