Events Executive – 12 Month Contract
The Events Executive will have responsibility for their own in-person and virtual events while also being required to support the rest of the team with their events. This is a great opportunity to progress your career in a top tier law firm based in Dublin 2 for what will be a diverse role.
This hybrid role requires just two days onsite, providing a great balance of flexibility and in-office collaboration.
This person will be leading on the London events and supporting on Dublin events – this includes a range of coffee mornings to larger more formal events. Therefore you must be willing to travel to London once or twice a month.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning, organisation, set up and execution of seminars, corporate hospitality, and client entertainment events. All administrative aspects of 'live events' will be crucial, including full ownership of the registration process, including post-event review and more.
- Managing external agency / supplier relationships in the delivery of selected events.
- Reviewing & sourcing corporate sponsorship opportunities and management of high-profile membership activities.
- Manage all the invoices, payments and ad-hoc requests relating to events, while also supporting the winder BD & Marketing team with additional requests
- Preparing event materials including delegate lists, name badges, packs etc.
- Maintaining client attendance data on the CRM system; and all event budget planning and consolidation within the firm’s document management system.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of three years event management experience.
- Availability to travel to London 1/2 times a month.
- Strong history in event & hospitality management.
- Experience of managing agencies / external suppliers.
- Worked on email marketing campaigns.
- Technically proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritise appropriately.
- Previous experience working in a 'Professional Services' firm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
