Your role in a nutshell:

Client Collaboration: Engage in on-site visits and collaborate on multifaceted risk-mitigation strategies.
Impactful Initiatives: Contribute to publications on incident and claim trends, joint initiatives with Health and Safety Authority, and guidance on indemnity and insurance.
Government Influence: Shape policy through circulars on blended working, management and maintenance of accommodation, and procurement.

Your Key Accountabilities:

On-site Impact: Conduct visits, inspections, audits, and reviews.
Insightful Analysis: Review and analyse incident and claims data for informed risk mitigation.
Collaboration and Advice: Share learnings with State authorities, provide advice on risk management, indemnity, insurance, and contribute to national-level policies.
Safety Advocacy: Develop, sponsor, and support safety initiatives for lasting impact.
Education and Liaison: Deliver education and training programs and liaise with internal stakeholders.

Your background & experience:

Experience and Leadership: 5-10 years in relevant roles, showcasing leadership in projects.
Educational Background: Hold an NFQ level 8 degree in engineering, science, public health, social science, or risk management.
Desirable Qualifications: Further qualifications in risk management, occupational health and safety, and insurance are advantageous.
Knowledge Base: Familiarity with ISO 31000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVING LICENSE AND NATIONAL TRAVEL IS INVOLVED IN THIS ROLE.
