Position: Enterprise Risk Consultant

Location: Ireland - We encourage applications from individuals residing anywhere in Ireland! This role involves regular national travel to meet with clients, with a monthly requirement to attend the Dublin office.

Salary: Excellent salary on offer for those with the desired experience.

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Enterprise Risk Consultant to work nationally and locally with various State Authorities, including the Health Services Executive (HSE), voluntary healthcare services, Office of Public Works, Tusla, the Defence Forces, the Irish Prison Service, An Garda Síochána, etc. As a Risk Management Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading risk initiatives with the aim of preventing incidents and events that may lead to claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and consistently strengthening client partnerships
  • Conducting evaluations of your client.
  • Performing client audits.
  • Reviewing, analysing and extracting learning from incident and claims data available on internal database.
  • Sharing incident and claim learning with State authorities and national stakeholders to inform risk mitigation strategies at local and national level.
  • Providing advice on risk management, indemnity and insurance.
  • Developing, sponsoring and supporting safety initiatives.
  • Delivering education and training programmes.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience working and leading projects in a relevant area.
  • A degree (NFQ level 8) in engineering, science, public health, social science, risk management from a recognised establishment/authority.
  • Valid driving license required.

The following is desirable:

  • A further qualification in risk management, occupational health and safety, insurance would be an advantage.
  • A knowledge of ISO 31000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies.

  • Diplomacy skills in dealing with different stakeholder needs and demands.
