eLearning Support Officer (12-month contract)

About the Role:
My client is seeking an enthusiastic eLearning Support Officer to join their Online Learning and Innovation team on a 12-month FTC (maternity cover).
This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in eLearning development, content creation, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
You will assist in the creation, maintenance, and delivery of engaging online learning products, as well as provide support for various eLearning projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating eLearning projects and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support the setup and maintenance of eLearning courses on the LMS.
- Manage user access, enrolments, and track learner progress.
- Help with quality assurance (QA) of courses to ensure they meet required standards.
- Update and maintain eLearning content, collaborating with subject matter experts.
- Provide first-line support to learners, resolving any issues related to the LMS or content.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Basic understanding or interest in eLearning development, instructional design, or learning technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or eagerness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
Desirable:
- Experience with any LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Brightspace, or similar).
- Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Understanding of QA processes in eLearning.
