Salary: €52,546 (aligned to public sector scale, non-negotiable)
Contract: 12-month FTC (Secondment Cover)
Hours: 41.25 hours per week (35 hours net)

We are partnering with a leading public sector body to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive to join their Digital Marketing Team within the Communications Department.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end social media strategy within a purpose-driven organisation, working alongside a collaborative and innovative team delivering impactful national campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the organisation’s social media strategy across LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta, and Bluesky
- Plan and manage a structured content calendar aligned to business and communications priorities
- Create and adapt engaging, platform-specific content (posts, video, stories, campaigns)
- Drive audience engagement through active community management and timely responses
- Monitor sentiment, identify trends, and escalate emerging issues or opportunities
- Manage and support a Social Media Coordinator, including workload and development
- Collaborate with internal teams to repurpose content into high-performing digital formats
- Oversee monthly e-zine creation and distribution via Mailchimp
- Work with agency partners on paid social campaigns and performance optimisation
- Coordinate influencer and UGC partnerships aligned to brand values
- Analyse performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Continuously test and implement new tools, formats, and innovations across channels
About You - Essential Requirements:
- Degree (Level 7+) in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
- 4+ years’ experience delivering social media strategies across multiple platforms
- Proven experience managing direct report(s)
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills, including short-form video
- Experience with tools such as Sprout Social and content creation platforms (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and optimise campaigns
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
About You - Desirable Requirements:
- Experience within the energy or public sector
- Exposure to paid social campaigns and agency collaboration
- Strong focus on customer/audience engagement and experience
- Irish language proficiency
