We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised CPD Coordinator to manage and deliver professional development and educational programmes. This role is central to fostering a culture of lifelong learning within the organisation and supporting members in meeting their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
The successful candidate will coordinate a range of training and outreach initiatives, from practitioner-focused programmes to student and public engagement events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and deliver an annual calendar of CPD events, including conferences, seminars, courses, and online sessions.
- Manage key programmes
- Ensure all CPD activities are delivered within budget, on time, and to a high standard.
- Support additional training and outreach initiatives as required, including events promoting the profession to students and the wider public.
- Contribute to the design and development of new and revised CPD courses, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with committees, presenters and subject matter experts to ensure course content meets established learning outcomes and quality standards.
- Support the ongoing review and enhancement of CPD-related policies, processes and member engagement strategies.
- Promote awareness of CPD requirements and upcoming events through effective communication and targeted outreach.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member queries related to CPD and training.
- Utilise technology effectively in the delivery of online learning, including video editing, webinar coordination and learning management system (LMS) administration.
- Lead content creation for student- and member-focused digital platforms, including websites, newsletters, and social media channels.
Ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in organising professional training, CPD, or educational programmes.
- Experience within a membership-based or professional services organisation is desirable.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and professional development best practices.
- Proficient in Moodle, WordPress, Excel, webinar platforms, and digital tools such as video editing and graphic design software.
- Strong IT, organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Interest in professional education
- IITD accreditation, QQI Level 6 training qualification, or Instructional Design experience is an advantage.
