Client & Business Development Manager

My client is a prestigious, globally recognised Higher Education body based in Sandyford, Dublin 18 who are on a mission to equip leaders to build the future, focusing on inspiring leadership performance.

The role of Client & Business Development Manager is pivotal in generating revenue growth and establishing strategic partnerships, making it an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of leads to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Deliver on assigned revenue and profit targets for your area of responsibility.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, bids, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Build knowledge and conduct market research to identify emerging trends and match solutions to potential target markets.
  • Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to maximise revenue, margin, and client retention.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing, Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the education or professional services sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with success in business development and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in executive education or professional development programmes is highly desirable.
