Business Services Administrator (Public Sector) – Temporary 9-Month Contract
Location: Dublin 2 | Salary: €37,919 | Hybrid
Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional looking to take your career in finance and business support to the next level? We are seeking a Business Services Administrator to join a regulatory body based in Dublin 2 on a temporary, full-time 9-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1+ years’ experience in finance, administration, or business support to gain broad exposure to finance, procurement, and operational support functions in a public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting procurement activities and maintaining service provider contracts.
- Coordinating external facilities management services and advisory committees.
- Managing fee income processing, refunds, reconciliations, and finance-related queries.
- Assisting with payroll, petty cash, SOP updates, and internal/external reporting.
- Supporting sustainability initiatives, tracking progress, and organising staff engagement activities.
- Providing cross-functional support across finance and business support teams.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in office management, finance, or support services.
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Desirable:
- Level 8 qualification in Business Management, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in public procurement and familiarity with IT, finance, or payroll systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Sage 200, Sage Micropay).
