Business Development Executive

About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join a global business development and marketing team. In this role, you will be key in supporting the development and execution of business development strategies, identifying new opportunities, and fostering relationships to help grow the client base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Business Development (BD) Manager and wider team to support the development and execution of BD plans and budgets.
- Assist in identifying and pursuing opportunities for new and existing client relationships.
- Provide support for BD trips, ensuring objectives are scoped and followed up on.
- Contribute to the coordination of legal directory submissions and interview preparations for partners.
- Manage relationships within the team and ensure lawyer engagement in marketing activities.
- Help plan and execute events and conferences for practice groups.
- Provide support on pitch documents and new business proposals.
- Assist with CRM database management and competitor analysis.
- Contribute to global projects and initiatives for the wider team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Over two years of experience in a marketing/business development role, ideally within professional services such as finance or law.
- A professional qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong event management and sponsorship activation experience.
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., InterAction) and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experience in a matrix organisation, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
