Board Secretary – 12 month contract
High-profile public sector organization require a Board Secretary for an anticipated period of 12 months. Using your deep knowledge in governance you will be responsible for advising the Board on compliance, statutory and regulatory matters. You will act as Secretary for the Board and two Sub-Committees.
There is some flexibility available here for the right individual who can competently step in to this role. The role offers an excellent salary commensurate on your experience.
- Full-time or Part-time applicants will be considered
- Two days onsite in Dublin 2 – close to St Stephens Green
You will lead and plan the annual Board meeting cycle, prepare and coordinate Board Papers (using Decision Time) and coordinate ongoing review of policy and governance matters.
To be considered for this role, you will have;
- Level 8 Qualification in relevant discipline (legal, corporate governance, law or business)
- A professional qualification in Corporate Governance, Company Secretarial and/or Law
- Strong professional experience as a Board Secretary or comparable role in an in-house role.
- Experience using online Board Portals – ie. Decision Time
