We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Acting Accreditation Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Accreditation Department during a maternity leave period.
16-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Location: Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin
Hybrid : 2/3 days onsite, remaining wfh
Salary: €42,629 per annum ( no negotiation)
Reports to: Head of Innovation & Development

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, integrity, and continuous improvement of accreditation systems for:
- Individual Therapists
- Supervisors
- Training Courses
The successful candidate will manage a high volume of applications, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with policies, and lead a small, dedicated team.
This role would particularly suit a candidate with strong people management experience and/or knowledge of education, accreditation, or regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management
- Line manage 3 direct reports:
- Conduct performance reviews and manage leave requests
- Monitor team performance, delegate tasks, and provide hands-on support
- Assist with team training and development
Accreditation & Membership Oversight
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of accreditation systems
- Process and clear applications for individual and course accreditation
- Confirm applicant eligibility for membership
- Verify Supervisor Report Forms
- Maintain and update accurate member records using Salesforce CRM
- Ensure procedures are correctly followed and updated in line with policy
Committee & Governance Support
- Prepare documentation for Accreditation, Supervision, CPD Committees and SFOC
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on actions
- Liaise with Course Assessors
- Support Supervisor Forum Organising Committee events
- Coordinate the Accreditation Ceremony
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Liaise with the external Data Protection Officer (DPO) service
- Oversee DPO-related responsibilities internally
- Improve quality assurance processes
- Contribute to updates of accreditation criteria, forms, and policy
Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide accurate and timely guidance to members, supervisors, and course providers
- Handle professional category enquiries and related correspondence
- Build and maintain effective working relationships
- Represent the organisation at events as required
Person Specification Essential Requirements
- Relevant third-level qualification
- Line management experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative or regulatory role
- Experience preparing agendas, facilitating meetings, and taking minutes
- Knowledge of the education and/or accreditation sector
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Experience working with volunteers
- Highly motivated self-starter with initiative
- Calm, confident, and professional manner
- Ability to work independently
