An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join a Global Engineering Consultancy organisation in Dublin 4, on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with the daily checking of postings within the Concur accounts package, ensuring accuracy in general ledger codes and VAT treatment.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure invoices are processed promptly.
- Assist with weekly payment runs, adhering to tight deadlines, and posting all payments to the ledger.
- Manage all aspects of VAT processes and have knowledge of reverse charge processes.
- Perform data entry and monthly reconciliation of all company visa bills.
- Chase unreturned visa bills.
- Process month-end expense transfers as requested.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Min. 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Previous experience in a multi-national corporation or within a shared services environment is valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- ERP System experience is an advantage (JDE/Oracle/Concur).
- High-energy individual with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to recognise and address errors in financial data.
- Capable of multi-tasking and working independently.
