An innovative & forward thinking Scientific Pubic Body in Dublin 2 are currently seeking a Programme Manager to join their organisation on a fixed-term basis for 18 Months.
This position has overall responsibility for coordinating SFI’s suite of programmes that facilitate collaboration between industry and academia

Key responsibilities:
- Lead on the development and management of new and existing programme calls aligned to national research strategies to enhance research and innovation capability in Ireland.
- Management of programme review processes including the review of proposals, preparation of review documentation, conducting internal and panel reviews and evaluations.
- Development of the post-award management and evaluation process for the awards.
- Management and monitoring of awards.
- Contribution to the development and realisation of key cross-agency programmes / initiatives.
- Development of innovative strategic initiatives by engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, including those in the public and private sectors.
- Management of project teams and mentorship of trainees.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a PhD in a STEM discipline.
- Have significant relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years professional experience post PhD ideally in academia or industry.
- Demonstrate a strong research track record and knowledge of good research practice.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in diverse stakeholder management.
