This HR Manager role is an exciting opportunity working with a long established and highly respected organisation. Reporting to the Commercial Director, You will play a key role in translating business strategy into HR strategy, ensuring effective implementation and operational delivery. As this is a standalone role you will be accountable for all HR activities.
You should be an experienced HR leader with a strong track record of expertise in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits and the development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes. Role and responsibilities:
- Work closely with the business stakeholders to ensure the HR Strategy is developed, communicated and embedded across the business, supported by core values and competencies
- 360 recruitment
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding of new starters and leavers
- Support the business in identifying and implementing strategic HR/people management processes, talent development opportunities and succession planning
- Be accountable for the planning, coordination and delivery of management training (Feedback, Coaching, Communication Skills) and all other training requirements as appropriate
- Coach managers in relation to their own performance and all people management issues
- Be a point of contact for employees and available to provide advice and support as required on any HR related matters
- Provide expert advice and guidance on ER-related queries and HR implications of management decisions, assist in grievance and disciplinary process
- Maintain excellent relationships with staff, managers and stakeholders to deliver change initiatives in line with the needs of the business
- Manage the HR budget and ensure that expenditures are within budgeted limits
- Maintain and update employee records and carry out daily HR administrative duties
Experience & Skills Required:
- 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent, CIPD qualification desirable
- An understanding of the Public Sector (advantageous)
- Significant HR management experience particularly in the areas of recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, L&D, Employee Relations and HR Policy
- A strong track record of working with Senior Leadership building high-performance teams
- Demonstrable experience in leading change and implementing continuous improvement processes
- A good knowledge and understanding of current employment legislation
- A proven ability to work on your own initiative
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to work in a regulated environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Must have worked in a metrics-driven organization with demonstrated understanding how HR impacts the business
