This global international law firm in Dublin 2, is seeking a Financial Accountant (13-month fixed term contract) to join their team in Dublin. This role is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to contribute to the financial functions within a dynamic and growing business environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager:
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with the production of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts.
- Supporting local teams in cost control and accurate accounting of costs.
- Working with local management and central credit control for debt management.
- Production and analysis of commercial data for trend management.
- Maintaining local accounting records, processing transactions, and journals.
- Assisting with the production of statutory accounts and liaising with external relationships.
- Liaising with central accounting teams and the Global Services Centre in Poland.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
- Experience: Professional services experience is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel and dashboard creation. Experience of SAP ERP platform desirable.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and local accounting rules.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and fluency in English.
- Personal Attributes: Self-starter, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Adaptability: Comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
