Suitable Employment law solicitors should have demonstrable experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, in particular in the following areas;
- Reviewing and drafting employment contracts and policies;
- Advising in relation to general HR queries, particularly issues such as; absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes; and bullying and harassment.
- Assisting in handling claims before the Workplace Relations Commission and the Civil Courts;
- Assisting with due diligence in corporate transactions.
The ideal candidate should have excellent organisation and administration skills and be enthusiastic about developing a career as an employment lawyer in an ambitious and dynamic firm. Applications will be considered from those with 2-4 years PQE.
Business development is a fact of life for lawyers within this firm, so you will need to understand the importance and necessity of this.
