Aviation Officer - Dublin 2

Our client, who works within the Aviation sector, are currently seeking administrators to join their licensing team. This client is based on D'Olier Street, (near O'Connell Bridge Area & Tara Street Train Station). The salary is between €30,000 - €37,000 DOE with an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

The purpose of the role is to provide effective and efficient administrative assistance and timely and efficient support to the licensing section.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Checking, examining, and querying documentation
  • Drafting letters, minutes of meetings, memos, staff notices and other documentation based on information
  • Completing and issuing standard forms, memos, letters, queries, etc.
  • Preparing, signing, and issuing correspondence
  • Making recommendations based on instruction, regulations, or general practice
  • Making or checking standard arithmetical calculations
  • Processing of cash and credit card payments – issuing change, receipts, recording and balancing receipts.
  • Development of invoices as appropriate
  • Preparing standard statistical material

Skills and Qualifications


  • A minimum of 2 -3 years’ experience working within an administrative role.
  • Excellent internal & external customer service experience.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate technical information and to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Accuracy and speed in processing applications and data entry
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Office Suite.
