AV Support Administrator

Our client, a leading Irish Law firm based in Dublin 2, are currently seeking an AV Support Administrator to join their dynamic team in providing AV support to over 500 legal staff. The salary on offer is depending on level of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide AV Support and maintenance for the firm's 18 client boardrooms as well as 15 internal meeting rooms.
  • Provide audio/video conference setup and support. Ensure all parties are connected within expected timeframes while ensuring audio/video is always operating at an optimal level.
  • Support all live events, including both client and internal events.
  • Partner with the Events team to plan and develop AV strategies for all on-site events.
  • Coordinate vendors and outside technical support for events.
  • Perform routine testing, maintenance and problem diagnosis for projectors, cameras microphones, speakers, amplifiers & LCD displays in all boardrooms to ensure all function correctly.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues on all floor meeting rooms, diagnosing issues and providing solutions.
  • Coordinate with our outside technical support for all AV faults or issues when external engineers are required to be onsite.
  • Provide AV support for all Court Remote hearings.
  • Assist in any present/future AV Projects. Meet with Vendors and receive the relevant training needed to support new equipment/setups.

Required skills and Expertise:

  • The ideal candidate will have gained 1+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Ideally hold a relevant third level IT qualification.
  • Basic networking knowledge is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Keen interest in Information systems and communications technologies.
