Our client is a corporate law firm with offices in Dublin City Centre. They are currently seeking to recruit a switched on, motivated and professional accounts assistant for join their busy finance function. This role is working for one of their business units in a stand-alone role but you will have the support of the finance function and all the benefits of an international firm which include; health insurance, pensions, bonus, gym, subsidised canteen and active social club.
This is a varied role that includes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, processing of invoices, as well as general account queries.
You will be responsible for:
Processing a high volume of daily office and client account payments
Dealing with banks on a daily basis
Processing VAT & VIES returns
Assisting with the processing of invoices and expenses for purchase ledger
Assisting with creditor statement reconciliations
Providing excellent customer service to both external and internal clients
Liaising with Partners and internal staff in relation to general Finance queries
Skills and Qualifications
4-5 years’ experience in a general finance function
Strong knowledge of all Microsoft software
Excellent verbal and written communication
Close attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Excellent Communication skills and phone manner
This is a permanent position that will offer a salary in the region of €35,000 - €38,000, depending on experience.
